27th Annual Skittles Waco Wild West Century

Date: Saturday, September 17, 2011 @ 8:00 am

Event: 27th Annual Skittles Waco Wild West Century

Route Distances (Click distance for route maps):

About the Ride: Benefiting the Be The Match Foundation

The bicycling tour that has made a tradition of great rest stops and super ride support is back for its 27th year. This is one fall event you don’t want to miss! There is a route for everyone — from families on their first bike tour to dedicated riders wanting to set a personal best on a century ride.

Last year’s proceeds from the Skittles Waco Wild West Century made a tremendous difference to the Be The Match Foundation®, formerly the Marrow Foundation, by advancing the Foundation’s Recruitment Campaign. This increased the number of donors for patients searching for a life-saving marrow match.

The Be The Match Registry, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program® has offered hope to more than 30,000 patients with life-threatening diseases.

This year, you can join the National Bone Marrow Registry on Friday from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Indian Spring Park. It just takes a swab to the inside of the mouth — it doesn’t keep you from riding!
