About the Ride: Children of our soldiers, especially those soldiers who have been wounded in combat or will not be coming home, make a special sacrifice. Operation Red, White and Bike is dedicated to recognizing this sacrifice of these little heroes, the young sons and daughters of our country’s Purple Heart recipients. This is our 4th annual Bike for Little Heroes ride and by participating you help give a special gift of a World-Class Personalized bicycle package from an American Company to a child of a special member of our armed forced. This year we are a BP MS 150 Recommended Ride.
Event schedule and times
Ride starts at 8:00 A.M. on Sunday November 10, 2013 in Hockley Texas Hwy 290 at Robert’s Road, west of Houston. Registration will be available day of ride but do come early to avoid the crowd and give yourself time to start with all your friends.

About the Ride: SMOKIN’ SPOKES BIKE RIDE is a Texas bike ride event sponsored by the Salado Texas Volunteer Fire Department. Expect challenging hills, scenic views, a monster century, well-marked routes, well-manned rest stops, friendly event sponsors and a great feed at the end of the ride.

Spirit Ride

About the Ride: Polk County wants bicyclists from everywhere to come enjoy the forested hills and valleys of Polk County. This is the first annual “spirit ride”, a chance to not only enjoy the gorgeous scenery of East Texas, but to also enjoy the riches of a small East Texas community where people from many different backgrounds have lived for generations. In particular, it is the home of the Alabama Coushatta Native American tribe and the home of beautiful Lake Livingston.
The Ride Supports Polk County’s Various Child-Based Organizations
Proceeds from this event will go toward Polk County’s Crimestoppers; Polk County’s Child Advocacy Center, Childrenz Haven; Polk County’s Domestic Violence Center, Saafehouse; and Polk County’s CASA organizations, all of which are dedicated to ending child abuse.

Race Distances: 25, 50 and 62 Miles
About the Ride: The Belton Lions Club serves the Central Texas area through charitable and educational purposes, dedicated to providing aid and volunteer service to the elderly; to the disabled; to the underserved; to hospitalized children; to community service organizations and to other Lions.
Our Motto: ”We Serve” typifies the members of our club not only in relation to the Lions Club, but in every aspect of life as we try to leave our community a better place than when we found it.
The ride will begin 8:00am at Belton Park & Ride, then a stroll through historic downtown Belton. Riders along the 25 Mile, 50 Mile and 62 Mile routes will be challenged by a climb up Nolanville Hill, followed by a ride across the Stillhouse Hollow Lake Dam. The 50 mile and 62 mile routes will continue into some of Bell County’s country-side. All routes will finish along Beltons Hike and Bike Trail.
