- Day 2 – 51 Miles – San Marcos to Austin
- Day 3 – 62 Miles – Austin to Ft. Hood
- Day 4 – 65 Miles – Ft. Hood to Waco
- Day 5 – 71 Miles – Waco to Cleburne
- Day 6 – 40 Miles – Cleburne to Arlington
Beneficiary: The Ride 2 Recovery is produced by the Fitness Challenge Foundation, (501C3) in partnership with the Military and VA Volunteer Service Office, to benefit Mental and Physical Rehabilitation Programs that feature cycling as the core activity.

April 6-11 Don’t Mess with Texas Challenge
Everything is BIG in Texas and this event should not disappoint. From the start in San Antonio to the state capitol of Austin to the finish at the baseball game at Texas Ranger’s Ameriquest Field vs. the KC Royals, this event will also feature visits to Brooke Army Medical Center, Randolph AFB, and Ft. Hood. Wounded Warriors from the Center for the Intrepid, Ft. Bliss, and Ft. Hood are expected to participate.
The event will feature a kick-off USO/R2R Event in San Antonio.
The rides will be limited to 200 participants with a minimum $3000 donation. Your $75 registration fee is applied to your fundraising goal. All injured veterans ride for free. There is an active duty Military or VA employee discount. The riders will receive a Ride 2 Recovery jersey, socks, and T-shirt. The donation will also include hotel housing, limited rider support, luggage transportation (70lbs max), daily route guides, marked course, rest stops, snacks, meals. There may also be nighttime entertainment on selected evenings.
