Date: April 11, 2020
Event: Red River Riot
Route Distances: Fun ride any distance (20-75 miles), 50 Kish and 100 Kish race
About the Ride:
The original Texas Gravel Grinder is back! This one is truly something special, not just a bunch of flat, dusty roads strung together by people trying to jump on the gravel fadwagon…this is the real deal. It’s tough, it’s beautiful, the after party food & drink are phenomenal and the host facility is truly something special. The route features a couple of big climbs as well as some unique private ranch roads. The majority of the course winds through and around the diverse Red River Valley region know as “The North Texas Hill Country”.
Ride it or race it, you make the call. The routes are marked AND we will provide GPS files as well as free access to the Ride With GPS navigation app for folks who don’t have a navigation device. The route is considered self supported but we will have neutral water tables about every 25 miles. On site camping is available (reservation ink in confirmation email). Each registered rider will receive a cool memento, complimentary wine tasting as well as after ride food & drink. For safety and insurance purposes all riders must wear a helmet and operate their bicycles under their own power. No motorized assistance is allowed.
