Make plans for a fabulous day of Texas springtime cycling in the beautiful countryside fifteen minutes south of downtown Dallas! The Greater Dallas Bicyclists, together with the City of Lancaster, will be staging the Lancaster Country Ride.

Be a part of our rally and ride the scenic back roads of Ellis County visiting the small communities of Ferris and Palmer. The routes traverse flats, rolling hills and some challenging climbs. Rest stops are situated every 12 miles with water, sports drink and fruit. The ride is held near the peak of the wildflower season and the routes feature gorgeous landscapes with dense concentrations of Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush.

The first 1,000 registrants receive Lancaster GDB socks!

Start/Finish: The ride starts at 9 AM near the historic Lancaster town square off Main Street and Dallas Avenue.

Mileage options: 24, 42 and 62 miles with a staggered start for safety. The 42 and 62 mile options take you on the Bluebonnet Trail via beautiful Sugar Ridge Road.
